Did you know that if you have a poor cell phone signal at home, you might be able to improve it with your home WiFi?

The latest phones now support WiFi Calling, which uses your home internet connection to route the call – effectively bypassing your cell connection.

It still uses the same number, and doesn’t sound any different, but if you’re having problems with dropped calls or bad reception, it could be the answer to your prayers!

How you enable this is depends on whether your on iPhone or Android.   Under the iPhone its under the Cellular settings and on Android, it’s under the WiFi settings as you can see below.

Whether this option is available to you depends on how recent your cell phone is, and also whether your cell service supports it.   Unfortunately some of the cheaper cell phone plans don’t support this yet, which I think is wrong.   This should be an option to all users regardless of their plan.
