If you’ve been suffering short battery life on your iPhone since upgrading to iOS 5, you’ll be relieve to know that Apple has acknowledged the problem and promised to release an iOS 5.0.1 fix within a few weeks.

According to “The Loop”, an Apple spokesperson said:

“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices,   We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”

In the meantime, people are reporting improved battery life by disabling “Setting Time Zone” (Settings>Location Services>System Services).
