Are you having trouble backing up you iPhone using iTunes? If it’s hanging at step 2 of 5, this solution may work for you too:
1) Reset your synchronisation history
2) Delete all previous backups (C:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup)
3) Right click on command prompt and select “Run as Administrator”
4) run the command “netsh winsock reset”
5) As always, finish with a reboot!
Hope this works for you too!
ya, thanks it works.
THANK YOU!,worked for my ipod touch 4 Gen running 6.1.2 *jailbroken*, nice and simple thanks!
Worked perfectly. Thank you.
it really works, thank you ^^
Finally! Been at this for hours
This really works!
Saviour!
Thought by updating to iOS 8, I could solve the problem, but that wasn’t the case. Updated iOS 8 for nothing and I preferred iOS 7.
does this work in mac?
what if i dont have a back up?
What is a synchronization history?
Yeah great! After having it finally to the back up that took whole night now I should delete that? Apple should have some normal people in their usability teams, not just some darn engineer nerds.
