Japan declares “Nuclear Emergency”

Japan has declared a “Nuclear Emergency” as Fukushima No 1 and No 2 reactors suffers problems cooling the reactor following todays Tsunami.

Due to the lack of power, the pumps which keep the radioactive core cool have failed and there are reports that the backup power sources are also unavailable.

 

 

Officials have said there is no radioactive leak at this stage.  More news as we get it
