It appears that the dwm.exe process in recent Windows 10 releases has a significant memory leak.  Over time the process consumes GBs of RAM, until it uses all available and causes a blue screen.

The suggested solution is to downgrade to an older version of the driver: “26.20.100.7985” which doesn’t have the issue.   You can download this from here:

You’ll also want to disable automatic updates for graphics drivers:

Control Panel > System & Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Hardware > Device Installation Settings. Then select “No (your device might not work as expected).”
