Quick Tip – Disable Your Internal PC Speaker (Beep)

OK, so you’ve muted your PC speakers, but you still get a beep from the computer when clicking on certain windows?

This is the internal built-in speaker included within your PC!

You can however disable this too…

Open Device Manager, then click on View and “show hidden devices”

Expand the group “Non-Plug and Play Drivers”

Double click “Beep”

Under properties, click the driver tab and then select Disabled for the “Startup Type” and then press the stop button.

Peace at last!
