A while ago I added a simple post explaining how you can insert a Euro symbol into Excel. This post has proven surprisingly successful so I thought I’d add one to explain how to add a £ (pound) symbol in case you don’t have one on your keyboard!
If you’re on a Mac you can can press the option-# keys to create the symbol.
If you’re on a PC, you can hold down Alt and then type 0163
